I Love TWiT
December 8, 2008

TWiT is just the greatest tech podcast. You can watch online live at www.live.twit.tv or you can download all of TWiT’s multiple productions off of iTunes. TWiT is headed by Leo Laporte, the Tech Guy. I personally listen to TWiT, The Giz Wiz (with Dick DeBartolo), and MacBreak Weekly. Tomorrow I think they are doing a live MacBreak at 11:00 AM (PST). In tech everything is PST. I wonder why?
Anyway, check out www.twit.com and www.live.twit.tv
Big News
December 3, 2008
Ok, I have big news.
The great Leo Laporte (www.twit.com) once said that for a blog to be successful it should pick a specific niche and stick to it. I have chosen a niche:
Apple (and stuff).
It might be too broad to tackle, but in time I’ll get it right and hopefully create a popular blog. First niche post this week, expect one in the next 72 hours.
Also, not many people are reading this, but I have ways, be ready.
More anouncements soon.
Bill
P.S. I think the post times on here are wrong.

How Great Is Tap Tap Revenge?
November 21, 2008
Isn’t Tap Tap Revenge the best game for iPhone/iPod Touch? It’s also made by the best iPhone developers, Tapulous!
I am proud to say that I am a beta tester for Tapulous. They send me their apps and I test them and give feedback. Man, it rocks.
Anyway, the new version is sooo much better. It has a new art scheme, and ONLINE PLAY!!
You know what I hate, a lot of those in the beta world kill you if you write in ALL CAPS. Really. Get a life.
Anyway, what makes TTR so cool is that you can download new tracks every Thursday, from cool new artists (EX: Katy Perry, Weezer). And there are contests to win autographed stuff.
Rock on Tapulous!

I’ll say more later, another quick post from my iPod Touch.
New Post This Afternoon
November 20, 2008
I’ll be back this afternoon EST for a new post, a new topic.
Until then.
Is Apple going into virtual reality?
November 15, 2008

On February 27th, 2008, Apple filed a patent for a “Virtual Reality Headset” that adjusts its image to the position in which the user’s head is. I found out about it on MacRumors (The GREATEST website, www.macrumors.com).
It would be quite an adventure for apple to do some virtual reality work, and to release this product, which they probably have a 99% chance of doing. But, this is NOT a rumor, I know I found it on MacRumors, but MacRumors found out directly from the U.S. patent website. Click here to go to the official patent.
As I said, it would be a gigantic jump for Apple to release a virtual reality headset, but hey, they went from computers and MP3 players to phones, why not computers, iPods, and phones to virtual reality. It would definitely be cool. Very cool.
The idea also raises questions. Would it be a product or accesory? WHEN would they release it?
The second question above has me thinking. They said that they have already announced thier full product holiday lineup, so their next chance to release it (and of course with a conference) would be at MacWorld 2009. I’m not sure when that date is yet, I’ll definetly find out.
I personally am very excited. About two years ago I bought this video eyeware headset, video eyeware, not virtual reality, from Icuiti, now known as Vuzix, www.vuzix.com. It sounds cool, but its not that great, and Vuzix (Icuiti) might have improved their products, I know they now have ones with bigger screens.
I’m on the edge of my seat.
